This week Canada’s record of women’s equality was under the spotlight at the United Nations at the 65th session of the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) in Geneva.

 

The National Inquiry into MMIWG, systemic discrimination, along with racialized violence against Indigenous women and girls were reported to the CEDAW Committee this week by the Native Women’s Association of Canada and 13 other women’s organizations.
