Taking the Next Steps in our Journey:
Building the Relative’s Bundle

Manitoba Moon Voices Inc is recruiting Indigenous women, girls, 2-Spirit and gender diverse relatives (18-29) in all stages of their life for the Taking the Next Steps in our Journey program.

Taking the Next Steps in our Journey is a 12-week (3 days a week: Tues, Wed & Thurs) program of workshops and fun activities about spiritual growth and working towards a more enhanced and independent life.

Program Details:

  • 14-weeks (3 days a week: Tues, Wed & Thurs) of information and workshops designed to add to the tools to your Bundle as you take the next steps in your journey
  • Cultural practices and teachings into the program
  • There will be wellness workshops about self-care, self-compassion, kinship and building healthy working relationships with future employers and co-workers
  • The program will connect relatives (you) to your spirit
  • We utilize community resources and you will discover the importance of building bundles for furthering your education and/or finding work
  • We will be building strong community influence with guest speakers/presenters which will allow the relatives (you) to expand your professional network
  • Upon completion relatives (you) will receive certifications of completion on some of the workshops and activities of the program
  • By the end of the program relatives (you) will have an increased sense of access to resources and be better equipped with your bundle to start the next step in your journey towards meaningful employment and/or education

Program start date is Tuesday, May 7, 2024

Taking the Next Steps is for women, girls, 2-Spirit and gender diverse relatives (18-29) that are eager to develop life skills and grow their personal identity.
